Improving mental health allows young people to thrive by enhancing their overall well-being, boosting their confidence, and improving their ability to handle stress. With better
mental health, they can form healthier relationships, perform academically and professionally, and enjoy a higher quality of life. It also empowers them to pursue their
goals and contribute positively to their communities.
In recent years, we've seen a rise in youth mental health issues like depression, anxiety,
and suicidal thoughts. Young people's mental health is influenced by many factors, from
personal experiences to societal pressures. It's especially important to support the mental
health of minority and marginalized youth, who often face higher risks due to circumstances beyond their control.

We can help young people build a brighter, more resilient future by addressing these
challenges. The Foundation for Talent Transformation helps young people develop their
mental health by providing free assessments, a helpful conversational chatbot, and
resources. These tools foster self-awareness, resilience, and a positive attitude,
empowering youth to thrive personally and professionally. Through their efforts, the
Foundation supports young people in building a healthier and more fulfilling future.
Dr. Vivek H. Murthy, the U.S. Surgeon General, articulated it well: “If we seize this moment,
step up for our children and their families in their moment of need, and lead with inclusion,
kindness, and respect, we can lay the foundation for a healthier, more resilient, and more
fulfilled nation.”
